ear candles?

Air flow can not be created in a system without a
port at both ends. Put a vacuum cleaner nozzle on your
arm, over a ball of lint, and press hard enough to
create a good seal against your skin. Turn it on,
then turn it off and let the motor stop. Remove it
from your arm.
The ball of lint will still be there.
Most people have no hole in their head which
would allow air to flow through the ear canal diue to
reduced pressure at the other end, and push stuff
out. But this might not be true of those who believe
in ear candling, so the results of "scientific
inquiry" on this isssue may be inconclusive.
