Hi Ric

I use Outlook also and do not have the problem you are describing.
Perhaps you are using the preview pane to look at the messages in which
case it won't work. I have to open the message in its own window. Then
at the top above the message there is the abbreviated header
information, including the first line which is:

From: pianotech-bounces@ptg.org; on behalf of; Richard Moody
[remoody@midstatesd.net]

If I right click on the part that says "Richard Moody
[remoody@midstatesd.net]" I got several options including adding you to
my contact list and copying to the clipboard. I can then easily copy and
paste into a new message.

Hope this helps.

List,
Thanks to Conrad and Terry, it looks like Outlook might be the
culprit instead of list software. Now why my Outlook shows for example,
"On Behalf Of Avery Todd" but won't allow you to click on or paste that
in to send an email is beyond me. When I had Outlook Express I had no
problem. Conrad and Terry pasted in their headers from the list and
they showed a "from" line instead of "on behalf of" and both are using
different software than Outlook. I called Bill to complain but they
put me on hold. However since I am on dial up I am breaking the
connection to get back to the list to thank those who took the time to
help out. -----ric

Ric,

In spite of what all you've been told, :-) just look at the header! It
says "from" and
that's the address!

Issac,
Sorry to send this to the whole list but I still can't figure
out how to email a list member individually. I suppose we should all put
our email addresses after our signatures. Anyhow I would like to see
your book in KC and am interested in buying it if you want to sell.
Please email me below.
