---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Paul I got it. I think it's a manufacturing miscalculation in how much the string was originally stretched & or twisted while wrapping. Most my misery is with tri-chords or bichords on Stwy A's being dead at first and failing to resuscitate apon stretching or twisting Dale: I guess my question has to do with what causes the "false" (but really real) beats. Is it directly attributable to twisting, or something deeper in the string vibratory system after but not because of the twisting. More research.
