I am a bit obsessive when it comes to hammers and have tried a lot over the years including some I made myself. I was very disappointed with the Jahn extension hammer but the solid, lightweight Jahn is wonderful. My biggest gripe with hammers is flex, be it from the shaft or especially at the point where the shaft screws into the head. I have had two shafts break at this joint over the last few decades :) The Jahn does not have this "head flex" and it is quite apparent.. at least to me. It is my favorite hammer.
