Ron,  I just bought one of these.  It was a 1966, and I understand that =
glue joint separation was a common problem with this vintage Baldwin =
uprights. =20
    This one had the bridge body come away from the root, just beyond =
the mid-treble plate strut.  Repaired quite nicely, using the screw =
method, and Titebond.  When dry, remove the screws and dowel. trim, and =
finish.
