   Without trying to step into it again I will say that the  finish on the 
Stwy O in mahogany was quite nice & the nicest part of what I  saw. 
  It was nicely rubbed & the color was good.
  I prefer I finish that allows the grain to be translucent but  it was quite 
a good commercial finish otherwise. Our finish is a "satin  Polish" which is 
my sons term. It's not a true satin rub & has waay  less satin marks and also 
Not totally polished but very shiny rubbed nitro  cell lacquer. I'll try to 
post a shot or two.
