Baoli Liu, RPT, said: "Obviously Pianotech is not the best list to talk about Chinese or Japanese or whoever... " Permit me to disagree: Surely we can and should discuss cultural and international economic issues that affect our business. How else do we learn? And absolutely the LAST thing we want is to stifle the free exchange of ideas by excessing over "politically correctness." But we have to be nice, open-minded, and not harbor a lot of false or prejudicial views. I think if we just remember that we are a community of friends and colleagues with common interests and concerns, then we'll be all right. Also, as is demonstrated about twice a week here, it is easy to toss out some electronic verbage that doesn't exactly communicate what we really meant to say, so I also think we have an obligation to NOT take offense, or at least not easily.
