Our larger recital hall here is 500 seat and the D and CFIIIS are
certainly not too much. It's really quite live also. I personally
think a 9' would be my goal, and 7' pretty much the minimum but that's
just me.

Subject: piano size

Hi Folks,

Is there a "rule of thumb" for Hall size vs piano
size? I've been asked to suggest size of piano for a
600 to 800 seat Hall. How small is too small?
