Brian asked: "
Hello list,
A customer wishes to have me forward to her an appraisal for her 1835
chickering baby grand. Several years ago, it had been restrung and new
dampers put on it. I have been tuning it for several years ( 5 tunings.one
every 6 months) . It plays.umm.ok.. and the case is in good, but not
excellent, condition.
Any input from you as to what sort of appraisal price might be appropriate?

Brian,
I hate to tell you this, but they didn't make "baby" Grands in 1835. Was that, perhaps, a typo?
Regards,
