The longer working time provided by urea is more likely to get a better =
glue
joint than will by compromised by any weakness (if any) that it =
contributes
(at least in my opinion).  I use it all the time, with hammer hanging as
well, and I have found that the longer working time probably creates a
better glue joint by allowing you to reposition parts without breaking a
glue joint that has set up before you are ready.  With respect to =
bushings,
strength is not really at issue, so using urea allows you to do more at =
one
spreading without concern that the glue will be gelling at the end of =
your
run and compromising the bond.       =20

I strongly suggest Against using urea. It will weaken the glue!!! The =
key to
working with hide glue is: Don't dawdle! Flack suit Zipped!<G> BTW, I =
have
done tests on this issue.=20
