Gee whiz Ric, who ever said that Steinway was mired in tradition and unwilling to try something new. Just when you thought they would never do anything different in their designs, someone like you comes up with an example like this. I'm curious though what benefit they thought putting the bridge pins six-inches out in front of the bridge cap notch would accomplish. Does it help give the music a real beat? ;-) These are pretty amazing pictures.
