List

I am looking to buy another tuning hammer on eBay and have seen many with a
little screw on the side. These old tools evidently are extension levers
and the shafts are held in place by this little screw. I wonder about the
rigidity of this system. Should I avoid purchasing one of these? Any
experience with one of these old levers?
