>From: "Farrell" <mfarrel2 at tampabay.rr.com> >Precisely my question: What does diskant mean? It's not in the dictionary. Sorry, I thought it´s an international term, but seems to be German only. It means high trebble. As aural tuner I always did pitch raise in two passes only with 25 cent flat or more. With 16 cent it never was a problem and between 16 and 25 cent flat I tell the customer to call again 6 weeks later (with private customers without a concert that day). Overpulling by 30 cents in the middle and 36 cent in the trebble seems a little bit to much. I am afraid of cracking strings.
