Both my aluminum fork and my steel fork have a detectable second =
partial, about 10% the volume of the fundamental, and no inharmonicity, =
as clearly shown by TuneLab.  Hit it with a piece of wood, and you can =
hear all kinds of high partials.  Your fork may be different.
