Hi and welcome! As others have said - I check with runs of octaves and double octaves. Then I play ragtime. Always Joplin. Almost every customer has heard "The Entertainer". But first I play "Weeping Willow Rag", "Magnetic Rag", and/ or "Swipesy". It peaks their curiosity to ask about the music. I like it as I tune by fourths and fifths, so with ragtime I can listen to a pile of thirds, sixths, and octaves!
