Hi Richard,

Do you need the work? If so, better to have some work at a discounted rate,
than empty pockets. If you don't then "full price" goes into effect. Labor
is labor, so a hourly rate makes the most sense. Be prepared to do pitch
corrections at no cost to the store.  

I do charge mileage always. Either you pay or the customer pays. 

My experiences with stores have not been gentle--for me or for the store.
