Soundboard rib question

P.S. I will say that these pianos are a little weak in
the treble, though that may be as much due to the
obliterated hammers as anything. With such wide flat
ribs I am seriously tempted to laminate another thin
layer atop them, "piggyback", ina caul, if I decide
more bearing is needed.
