Don't have the coil riding the rail. Use the thick back edge of a single-edge razor blade to support the coil while drawing up the wire. I would drill a second hole in the rail to accept the tail, it will cause the wire to be drawn into the slot too (you might have to enlarge the kerf if it's too narrow). -- Regards, Jon Page
