Hi Richard, "Problem is I can't force the tail into the tiny slots where the old springs came from. The slot doesn't seem to be quite bib enough" When you get the springs on, get plenty of glue to put over the spring/slot area. Have done this before and it works well, the spring will stay in place with no problem, and is quick and easy to do. (only problem is if you want to replace them in years to come though... but they probably wont need replacing for a long time, if at all!)
