Piano with a hitch

Not causing problems as such. To me it looks aesthetically wrong as if someone has hammered in nails and bent them over to make a staple, like we did as kids when we tried our first stint at woodwork. Here is another angle.

  No I don't think you need such an angle on the hitch pins, but I cannot imagine what problems that would cause.
