James, Changing 7mm into inches, I came up with .2756" so it may not be a real tight fit. I restrung a jumpy-pin Steinway once by first reaming with a spoon bit. Then I used powdered chalk on the tuning pin threads. It became very tunable. I suppose you could also use pin driving fluid.
