Subject: RE: CA glue a Baldwin So how does one know when one has applied enough CA glue to the pinblock? The pins hold! Sure the bushings soak up CA, that is why the stuff is so effective on these instruments. In a way the bushing becomes an extention of the block. Warning, do not use CA on a Wegman piano or use 4 oz on one pin <G> Joe Goss RPT Mother Goose Tools imatunr at srvinet.com www.mothergoosetools.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Wasatch Piano Works To: pianotech at ptg.org Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2006 11:39 AM Subject: RE: CA glue a Baldwin So how does one know when one has applied enough CA glue to the pinblock? And what about the tuning pin bushings--don't they soak up a lot of the glue, too? Thanks!
