estonia

I only tune one; a 9 footer about 10 years old. It seemed that it needed regulation fairly often and yet it held a tuning pretty good, considering that a concert player was pounding the stuffings out of it on a daily basis. The only weird thing is that all the sound board buttons cracked in many pieces and caused big time buzzing. The tone is a little anemic compared to a Steinway, and the action does feel a bit clunky, but for the price of this thing back in '95 it's a lot of piano. No false beats, only one pair of bass strings mismatched. Others I have talked to say the quality of Estonia back then was dependent on what day of the week it was. YMMV.

  List,
I'll be tuning my first Estonia grand tomorrow, anything I should know about this piano? What do you think of them? I'll get back after to share my thoughts.
  Thanks,
