Of course we are! This is the internet, isn't it?? Something about e- 
mail makes us a bit thin skinned, and more likely to write something  
that offends others. Even though the same words might be taken with  
good humor if the parties were face to face -- and sometimes being  
face to face we would be reluctant to say some of the things we write  
and then tap "Send."
