Dampp-Chasers in institutional setting

Ok, I'm sure this will get some chuckles from the crowd but if you
really have your heart set on the Dampp-Chasers perhaps you could
talk to the music school about creating a small scholarship for a
needy student who would be responsible for maintaining them. Ha Ha
Ha, I know. The benefits of this:

1. The pianos get what they need.
2. The student gets the money he/she needs.
3. The piano technician world gets to educate collegiate students
about what we do.

You'd have to really sell it to the school as a better way to make
sure the pianos and chasers are being maintained.

Other radical ideas:

--Get PTG to help sponsor the scholarship. The school of music would
list the scholarship and PTG would get some advertising.
--Get the Dampp-Chaser people to help sponsor the scholarship. They
could then appear friendly and philanthropic.

Just some thoughts from a public school teacher who had to be
creative about money.
