Yes, I forgot that.
At my Yamaha training, once the action was on my knees, I was taught to check the aftertouch, and to try to position the action so that the aftertouch on my knees was the same than in the piano. If not, it means that there is too much pressure on the front rail, resulting a smaller keydip, and then a smaller aftertouch, and thus a "distorted" checking regulation.
