I hold 4 or 5 keys down and lift and drop the hammers adjusting as needed. Then moving along to the next 4 or 5 hammers.... Samples set with finger on hammer and rocking key to make sure hammer tail doesn't rub backcheck...

What is the best, most accurate way to regulate checking? I was doing a lot of practice last night, and it seems that when you strike the key with even the slightest amount of variance, it changes the checking distance of the hammer.

Also, can someone send me the link to the Piano Tech searchable archives? I cannot find it on the PTG site.

Thanks!
Matthew
