Sure, use as you wish. My recommendation for an estimate is as follows: 4 hours to replace brackets (careful alignment with good straight edge - and shimming may be required) 2 hours may be needed to repair action frame (expanded brackets sometimes crack/damage wooden frame - may need to plug and redrill several bracket screw holes in action frame) However many hours you need for a complete regulation (G Piano Works suggest 15 hours for a full regulation) and hammer shaping on a 15-year-old piano (add an extra hour to turn 88 let-off dowels a gazillion turns). Plus pick-up, delivery, installation, etc. Also, before you provide the estimate, make sure the darn action will come out of the action cavity without keybed removal or other drastic procedures! Terry Farrell ----- Original Message ----- YES! One early 90s Weber had the YC bracket problem & YC sent me the brackets and I replaced them. Terry Farrell Thanks for your answers about the webers, if its ok with you I'll add your comments to an estimate to replace brackets and regulate 2 pianos.
