Hi List, I looked in the archives and didn't find information as specific as I wanted on this subject: On a small grand we are rebuilding there is a Soundboard crack that runs almost beside the rim side of the bass bridge (runs all the way across the board) and slightly under the bass bridge itself. SB replacement is not in the picture but we will use epoxy to fill this and one other crack, now that we have dried the board down. In order to get to the crack under the bridge it seems that we would need to pull the bridge off. If so, what specific instructions would you offer to remove the bridge? I know some form of moisture and heat will be recommended. There are four screws underneath and this narrow bridge sits on a small apron.
