I believe if you look closely at the two piano agraffe solutions you 
will see that they are quite a bit different. The picture you posted 
shows a string deflected upwards and held in place at the ends by 
agraffe holes much like traditional front termination agraffes.  
Steingræbers on the other hand deflect the string downwards and use only 
a lip to terminate the speaking and back lengths. As no doubt some have 
brought up this raises the question of string buzz given the quite 
significant amount of upward pressure on the termination for a fff 
blow.  But.... I've heard Steingræbers pianos.. not ones with agraffes 
mind you but still... and I have to figure he'd have made sure buzzing 
was not a real problem.  I will be excited to get a chance to see one of 
these instruments in the near future.
