Spelling woops

Tuners,

You might find this funny. Some time back I ran across a new term that I
had not heard before. Keep in mind that I am a blind person who uses a
screen reader on my computer. Also I keep an extensive list of terms that
I started for the students at the Piano hospital many years ago.

Now because the voice on my computer is not trained for piano terms, it
pronounced the word, "bitcherd". I copied the word to a file to add in to
my list later and life went on. Just yesterday, I ran across the word,
"try chord" and you guessed it, the computer voice pronounced it "bitcherd".
Now that I had a couple of words to add in I took them together and read
them letter for letter to put them in alphabetical order. You can imagine
my surprise when I saw the spelling and realized that I had been living in
suspense for a few weeks for no reason.

I hope the thread of this humor is getting across, but I will never read "by
chord or try chord" again without chuckling.

William
