Hmmn, I don't usually go to such depths, but I'll give that one a try. Some of those actions are not easy to put back. Mind you occasionally I tune those nasty American drop action spinets from under the keybed; remove the bottom board and use the papps wedge.

  I usually open the bottom board, and put the felt mute strip along the bridge.
