Thanks for all the suggestions, The new H/K's look interesting, their case
is  made of clear plastic... I think it's time to go shopping;-)

They are Harman/Kardon, two little typical computer speakers and one one big
one that is roughly 1/2 the size of the CPU.  It was some sort of
sound/music/media upgrade package that we got when we purchased our Dell
computer--oh, dear, almost five years ago....

Do you want the component numbers (they've probably changed by now).  I'd
have to find my other glasses.

Wait, I'll take a picture.  Pardon the mess.

Anyway, I'm sure glad we purchased that option, I've enjoyed having good
quality sound in this end of the house for CDs & radio.
