Is/was this for real?

Pulled an old business card out of a piano today: Has a triangular logo on it with a little grand piano in center and, around the sides, the words:
"Accredited Piano Tuners and Technicians of America".  Is/was there such an organization/designation?

The last tuning this particular person (C. W. Lundy of Kansas City, Missouri) did was in February of 1981.

And that is just about the last time this crappy little K&H spin-sole was tuned, too. It wasn't all that flat but even a PR and a fine tune ... oog ... what a whiney mess! (Not me, the piano)
