Speaking of portable vacs. someone on here mentioned one that is used to clean out copier machines, but I cannot recall the brand.

      Greetings Michele,

OH YES!!....The Black and Decker (mine is dark blue) 780 watt, 6.7amp, 13 oz. capacity fully AC powered Dirt Buster is permananently in my car trunk. I bought one for the house too.

      1. Its fully AC powered, in other words, you will never have to deal with a rechargable battery going obsolete and unavailable after youve grown to use and like the thing. (unlike the old Dirt Busters)

      2. It has a pretty powerful motor.

      3. There are 14 different tips...some are really narrow for getting in tight places. (I have also made a few tips of my own out of old vaccuum cleaner tips.)

      4. It is an inflator on the other end!! (it sucks and blows air)

      5. It has a 5' floor extension that is in smaller disassembleable sections

      6. All the attatchments and extensions come in a cloth bag that is no longer than about 15" and everything fits in a medium-small size box in the trunk.

      7. It is easy to empty and filters (no bags, its like a filter catch thing) are way reusable and dont cost a fortune.

I really like this model Dirt Buster. It is so much better than their previous ones. I paid about $25 for it, and that includes the whole kit, tips, tip carrying bad and vac.
If anyone knows of a better vac, I'd like to hear about it. They make perfect gifts too!
