Flushing over-lacquered hammers

Hey Alan.

I'd flush em down the toilet myself. Not that you cant get a
half-rassed result with diverse methods of chemical treatments.... but
hey... nice new set of hammers... good chance to do a dandy action
balance.... great chance to practice voicing new hammers... etc etc.
Sounds like much more fun then nursing acid burns... :)

Cheers

the toilet. But I would like to hear from anyone who has dealt
successfully with such hammers. I'm thinking that flushing with acetone
might do the trick. Anyone want to share techniques that worked?
