Hi Greg

I've brokered quite a few such piano deals. My going rate is 30% of the sale
price. The truth is that it is normally pretty difficult for a piano owner
to sell their piano, especially if they are trying to get more than $500 for
it. What I tell people is that with my contacts I can normally sell the
piano for quite a bit more than they can selling it by theirself. They will
end up with the same amount or more after paying my 30% if they let me do
it.

Blessings,

Dean

Friends,
Some of you may have , at one time or another, helped your customer sell
their used piano. I am faced with this situation now and would like to get
an idea what the going rate is as a percentage of the selling price. The
scenario is this. If I sell it out of her current residence before she moves
the rate is _____? If I bring it to my shop and sell it for her and send her
the money to her new residence the rate is_______?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
