Sorry to cause you pain, Terry. :-) You know, it's funny about methods in this field--someone (who is always smarter than I am) comes out with what seems to be a great idea and then later it is debunked and then if we wait long enough it might resurface as a great idea again, like bell bottoms, platform shoes and toe socks. (My brother and his wife painted their family room what appeared to me as Harvest Gold!--I refrained from saying that it looked like our old long-dead, but not forgotten, refrigerator.) I remember when tearing was all the rage--and for some folks it still may be. Then there is my not very good feeling about graphite, which is in the Renner bushing cloth--unless that has changed. Mostly we were looking for a more exact method of finding the correct width (to cut or tear or size) and using cloth already on hand. Thanks.
