Yesterday I checked out the Disklavier with the "no read" problem. With your help and advice from Yamaha, we found several problems and decided to remove the unit and ship it to them for diagnosis. Many thanks to all who wrote with advice: Jonathan, Patrick, Cy, Dave D, Dave T, Dave C and Mark. Once again this proves how useful and helpful this forum can be.
