Plugging and re-drilling birdseyes? Micro-precision felt cutter, for tiny pieces in butts?

Excellent idea Ron, thanks ! I only might try to
"refine" it a bit, by devising some means to 
by-pass my not-always reliable ( anymore ) "eyeballs".
  (  Mini-drill press to hold the pin, with action
part clamped to jig ??? )
