CERS Early Registration Date Near
 
Just a reminder to all who are interested in the PTG Central East 
Regional Seminar, October 4-7, 2007 in Madison, Wisconsin.  The early 
registration deadline for reduced fees is September 8.
 
The highlights of the seminar include day long Grand piano servicing 
with Don Mannino and Ben McKleveen and Small Vertical (spinet) 
Reconditioning with Joe Goss.  Keith Aikens will astound you with his 
concepts of Grand Regulation. Saturday will feature Del Fandrich's very 
popular day long presentation, From the Forest to the Concert Hall.  
Other highlights include a full morning of Harpsichord Repair and 
Regulation with Margaret Hood and a full afternoon of Historical 
Temperament tuning and listening experiences with Tim Farley.  All RPT 
exams are offered but the schedule is filling fast!  Don't miss this 
opportunity to upgrade to RPT!
 
Associates and non PTG members may wish to take advantage of a full day 
of instruction on what it takes to pass the PTG RPT Exams on Thursday, 
October 4.  There will be hands on instruction for both the Tuning and 
Technical Exams.  Other early arrivals will want to take the 
fascinating and educational tour of the U.S. Forest Products 
Laboratories.  There will be Thursday evening bonus sessions open to 
all attendees with Del Fandrich on Walter Piano Design and Construction 
and Jim Cox with an assortment of ideas to help you better yourself and 
your business.
 
There is plenty more and great, full service lunches in a stunning lake 
view room and Saturday evening Banquet with entertainment are all part 
of the package!  There is an exciting Auxiliary schedule to enjoy as 
well during the peak of Southern Wisconsin's Fall color season.
