On the 3rd Day of December

I was thinking (along the lines of Golden rings) Five Golden Plates??? Or
Five Golden Hammer Awards??? It could get worse!

On the fifth day of Christmas, a piano came to me...
...with five broken strings,
Four popping pins,

is came up with a good third day. We can create quite a wreck before
Christmas...:) Duanes idea about a Journal contest is also a good idea... we
can do both really.. but somebody has to get our Editor onboard on this. 
 
So... we have so far: I changed my initial line to fit the melodi better. 
 
On the 3rd day of December, a piano came to me, 
With three elbows broken, 
two hammers missing, 
and a cracked plate and several stuck keys.
