I think that's a Kawai Model Z.  K before Kawai stands for Kowabunga...or "that's one big sucka..."

This will sound ridiculous, but please bear in mind that I live in the rural Ozarks where old Gulbransens go to die ... or AFTER they are dead, actually. I don't see a lot of quality pianos, here.



Is K. Kawai the same as Kawai? 



If purchasing a new 56-foot-ish grand, what comments have ye regarding Kawai vs. Yamaha?
