Seriously, at least 5'6" for a grand to have any chance of musicality, otherwise, if the space is really that limited invest in an upright. You'll get a heck of a lot more piano for $7K - $10K in an upright than a grand. William R. Monroe I have a customer who is interested in purchasing a baby grand (a 4' to 5') for his church.
