K KawaiAlan,

All Kawai grands say K. Kawai, after Koichi Kawai, the company founder way back when. Uprights say simply Kawai.

Of course, buying a 5'6" - ish Kawai is always preferred to any other brand . . . .

:-)

This will sound ridiculous, but please bear in mind that I live in the rural Ozarks where old Gulbransens go to die ... or AFTER they are dead, actually. I don't see a lot of quality pianos, here.

Is K. Kawai the same as Kawai?

If purchasing a new 56-foot-ish grand, what comments have ye regarding Kawai vs. Yamaha?
