That was my first thought as well, but I've never used Gorilla glue.  Just
heard about it from others.

The repair was done 8-10 years ago, according to the owner.  But it was
supposedly just this year that the glue expanded and caused the ivory to be
elevated like that.  I can't see that happening, but I certainly claim no
expertise here.
