Rest room story

Hi David,
I lived 'down unda' from 85-87. I lived in NSW and got as far south as
Eden, Cooma and Jindabyne and drank water from the Snowy River. Good to
hear from you mate.

Since we're on the subject of the dunny (or the loo), people from the US
would write to me and ask if the water going down the toilet would swirl
backwards due to reverse polarity in the southern hemisphere. I never could
answer the question as the toilets down under didn't swirl, they deluged
from the back and you'd better be off the seat if you didn't want a wet
backside.

By the way folks, in Australia, the toilet is loated in a separate room
from the bathing facilities so you had to ask, may I use your toilet instead
of may I use your bathroom. It seemed a bit frank at the time.

tata
Ron
