Plastic elbows

Doug: You can use the plastic snapon elbows sold by the supply houses. However, do try to have the customer let you replace all 88. Once they start going, they will all go sooner or later, and usually sooner. The plastic used in older elbows always becomes brittle and shatters. Check for plastic parts in other places in the action as well. Some manufacturers used plastic flanges everywhere possible, as well as plastic backchecks. They don't make them like they used to - thank god!
