from Jon Page: Grand truck with special applications for the 'ball' leg-ends to sit upon, jpg attached The top of the conical support is the diameter of the old caster mounting surface. The bottom flares for added support. It is bolted to the truck arm. The leg is supported at the same location as when a caster was installed. I didn't want the thin-walled leg end to sit on the truck taking the weight of the piano. The cone serves two purposes: support the leg and secures the position on truck arm. This piano is frequently pushed up a ramp onto a staging area with no problems. Something similar can be done with square legs which are to large for the retention plate. -- Regards, Jon Page http://tinyurl.com/y4rlvx http://tinyurl.com/yydjpp http://ptg.org/pipermail/files/attachments/20070110/70574065/ attachment-0002.obj http://ptg.org/pipermail/files/attachments/20070110/70574065/ attachment-0003.obj -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
