What's the best way to mark agraffe orientation, prior to removal ? Also: Use new ones?

Patient is 1923 Steinway "M". Also: Should I put in
new ones, or re-work these ??? If new, what is the
best source ???  All suggestions will be most
gratefully and humbly accepted.
